I want to give you and your staff a HUGE thank-you. I am
so sure that this camp provides the structure, nurturance,
and commitment that all "my boys" need in order to feel
successful. We are thrilled with Steven's positive time,
and his desire to return next year. James is so aware of
his work accomplished at camp. And Michael has already
shared so much [about his experience]. I just wanted to
send you my heartfelt thanks.

Camp Starfish works under the premise that
providing individualized attention to children
in need will help them to learn new skills, improve
their self-esteem, and enjoy emotional growth.

At camp, we focus on teaching children how
to interact appropriately in a social group, play
cooperatively on a team, and resolve conflicts
verbally and peacefully. Campers also work on
individual goals, all while being active outdoors,
exploring their talents and interests and having fun.

Starfish is a different kind of summer camp. We're
proud to receive frequent feedback that campers
are returning home having made great strides. For
many children, Starfish is the first place where they
can truly succeed...and that's why different is good.
